Thank you Pup Up Hooray! We had our wedding in Mission Viejo and they kept good care of our dog for two nights. We also used their taxi cab service and they were able to deliver our dog to the venue on time so that he could walk down the aisle (ring bearer) and promptly picked him up after we took photos. It was so important to us to find a place that could provide these services and do them safety so Charlie could be a part of our wedding. Thank you so much Lanette for coordinating everything!
Very friendly staff and initially we loved it. However, we have had a bad experience every time we brought our dog here. This last time being the worst and between our stay and the vet bill, we are out $600. The first two times our dog had diarrhea and poor appetite for two weeks after the stay. This last time she got a bacterial infection under her neck. She came home wet which is fine, we gave her a bath and noticed under her neck wasn't drying. It was oozing puss. At first I thought maybe she just got into it with a dog and didn't think much of it. I did however send a note to the facility asking for more information. I did not receive a response. The next day it was still oozing puss, so we ended up taking her to the vet where we learned of the bacterial infection. We paid over $330 for the vet. At this point I was pretty upset and sent photos and the vet bill to the owner. Of course they denied this ever happening before. However, after further investigation I found out many people have had similar situations here. We wanted to love this place but that just wasn't the case. I think this place could use a good scrub down.
My dog loves that place so as we. Owner is always very friendly and helpful. Last time when my dog had an accident on his bed they washed for us ! It's a great place bc even when you away , you can be sure your pup is happy and safe bc of cameras.
Prices are very reasonable if not best on the market.
Love their attitude towards helping me feel safe with leaving my puppy with them. They first said they might not let my puppy play with other puppies because he's not fixed, and he might not be good sports playing with others! but they were so good on managing them to keep calm enough, to be able to play and enjoy their time!
If you need an excellent dog trainer in a beautiful, friendly facility look no further! Mike is a patient, professional trainer! He has helped us tremendously with our Malti-poo Teddy and his barking! We love the events and fun gatherings too! It's a great community of dog lovers!
My dog Bo really loves playcare at PupUpHooray! I have trust issues, so I pay particular attention to how she reacts when I drop her off and pick her up...let me tell you she LOVES everyone here! I'm glad I can check-in on her via the live camera feeds; I feel very confident she's in the best hands. I even enrolled her in the Puppy Bootcamp training program--her behavior/manners have greatly improved. Working with Lannette, Andy and Mike has been super easy and I can attest that they truly care about their clients! So glad I found PUH!
The owners went above and beyond my expectations for a dog boarding facility. They were sweet and patient with our husky, who was very anxious about being there. We have had a very positive experience and I would 100% recommend this business to anyone looking for dog care.
Today we had our first visit to Pup Up Hooray with our 8-month-old Pomeranian Henri.. We went in seeking training for our pup as we were referred by a friend who's been having great success with her dog Jaxson's training there. From the moment we spoke on the phone and then entered the door we were so warmly greeted by Lannette of Pup-Up Hooray she and the staff made my husband I and our pup feel so welcomed. Lannette explained as we sat in the comfort of her warm office environment what they offered from training to boarding. She answered all questions that we had very patiently, she thoroughly understood what our dog's needs were and what our hopes and goals for him are. As we sat in her office we almost instantly noticed an attachment he had to Lannette. To our surprise, our shy, usually very nervous, anxious pup was so calm as we sat talking and seemed to sense he was in a very special, caring environment and that so also proved to be so as we peaked in from the online webcam that they offer to all parents which Lannette easily showed us how to set up on our cell phones. The clarity of viewing our boy the entire time was perfect. We really loved being able to see how he interacted with the other pups and how well he and the other dogs were being cared for and watched over by the staff. In addition, we never felt pressured during our whole visit and while making our decision as this would actually be the best place that we would get the help in ensuring our goals that our boy wouldn't just survive but will thrive.
The owner is very helpful but they're short staffed and as a first time client, I just waited basically 45 mins in her office to do a meet and greet but never got around to it because she was too busy for me. She was checking other puppies out, answering phone calls. At the end, I just left. Im disappointed this place didn't work out because the owner was too busy.
Fair warning, she did tell me she was short staffed that day but unfortunately she couldn't even take the time to do a 15 mins meet and greet for my puppy. I basically just wasted my time.
I am updating based on the response from the owner to me and not based on the facility (yet). I will be checking it out. However, Andy sent a very nice response and apology.... As you can tell in my original post--what was happening didn't match what people were sharing about this place and seemed contradictory to their reviews. I know staffing a small business is extremely difficult and want this business to be successful. I will try it out!
Love love love Pup Up Hooray. Started dropping my puppy off when he was 5 months old (when all of his shots were had) and the 2-3 days a week drop offs we do are a God send.
Here, our dog can exert all that energy and get some structured playing and training.
They also do boarding and grooming services (and personalized training) Which you can book on their online portal. Andy/Lannette are the owners and absolutely care about all the dogs coming and go here--all the other folks there (dog players, trainers, groomers) also genuinely seem to love all the dogs here.
Great place overall and highly recommend!
They have daycare available.
They have overnight available.
They even offer training!
Lannette and Andy are the owners and they will give you their cell phone so you can text them. You will be supporting a small business bringing your dog here.
There are dogs here that are regulars. It's a big place.
There do separate the dogs by size and temperment. There is one room with the bigger and active dogs.
And then they have the little ones and maybe a big dog with a gentle temperament.
It is easy to schedule here via on line. They do request to see their vaccine records including the canine flu due to the recent outbreaks.
Last minute pinch, it's okay to board your dog here.
Your dog will be safe.
Cameras are on in the play area, which is nice when you want to take a peep.
I did observe them for awhile and they work hard to keep the area clean. Alot of mopping and vacuuming!
They also offer grooming service here. It's a nice addition.
We had our little dog stay here for 5 days and 4 nights. We requested grooming, but I guess the groomer didn't show up and he wasn't groomed. I was made aware that certain style won't be available and it would be more of a sanitize grooming. I was fine with that. It might have been a staffing issue. It's okay. My dog was here for boarding not for the groom. I think it was just a nice addition to have that service available.
It's pretty affordable at $45 a day for a small dog.
I would prefer my dog to be at someone's home or my home. If you are going out of town for the holidays or if your are in a pinch to find a place to board your dog; this place will provide that.
Kennels wouldnt be the first place I would consider to place my dog because my dog's temperment which is more on the gentle side and needs a quiet cozy space due to age. I think what made me agree to take him here is the camera access.
He was safe and care was provided.
We've been going to Pup Up Hooray since our puppy was around 6 months old, so for about a year now. We've used their services for daycare, boarding, training and grooming. The staff knows our dog and is always very accommodating and loving to her. I feel it is so much more personal than going to some place like Petsmart. The owners are local and Pup Up Hooray definitely has a local, mom and pop shop vibe. I wanted to post a video of our dog snoring when she comes back from daycare, but you can only post pictures. Pepper Potts loves going to visit all her friends at Pup Up Hooray!
Absolutely the best doggie day care and boarding spot. I take my 1 yo Weimaraner every week and she comes home tired and happy. I know that she is well cared for and if you miss your fur baby during the day, they have cameras in the play areas that you can log into and watch.
We board our weim 5-6 times a year and have been very happy. The place is clean and the kennel area is spotless. I love that they have someone on premises 24-7. Not many places do that and the pricing is great, especially if you buy a package.
The owners, Lynette and Andy are fantastic.
I highly recommend Pupuphooray
I am so thankful for this place! The customer service here is impeccable and the staffs are sooo accommodating and kind. My 9 months old standard poodle has the best time here and she gets SO excited when I take her to Pup Up Hooray a few times a week.
At first, I was concerned because my puppy was not so social and shy. The staffs noticed about my shy little pup and paid extra attention to her daily to eventually let her play with the more "playful" dogs in the bigger room. At the moment, my dog is no longer shy and scared. She truly became a lot more confident and well-mannered ever since she started going to this day care 🙂
The staffs updates you on the dog's condition, energy level, her new friends, and so on. They really do care about your fur babies and the owners.
If you are looking for doggie day care, training, or boarding, this is THE PLACE for you!
Our dog has never been socialized! He was a rescue and didn't do great with other dogs or kids until this place! They are magical fixers! We have a small child it took our dog 6 months to feel comfortable with and by day 2 here he was interested in playing with other dogs. If you think your dog wouldn't be into it, think again! They're dog lovers! If you're dog is only a people dog they can assist with socializing! They're the best! When it comes to grooming, he's never had a softer, better smelling coat! He walks in with a waggy tail since day two and walks out happy and relaxed
I am very happy to recommend PupUp Hooray. I boarded my dog for a few days and he was very well taken care of, The facility is very clean and you can watch your dog on cameras. The staff is very helpful and the Owners Lannette and Andy are very hands on so you know things are getting taken care of. I will bring my dog back there the next time I go away.
Thought I'd hop in an give an update. I've been coming here since Pup Up Hooray started and its been phenomenal ever since day 1. If you peek at their instagram, you can see many customers have been returning here since day 1 because of what they provide in care for our dogs.
They host events for customers, they have training, and grooming options. It is all there. Most importantly, Lannette and Andy have been like family to us and always welcome June in to play. June always looks forward to going to day care and it has been a blast. We recently needed last minute board accommodations and they were immediately there for us to take June in. I can't recommend Pup Up Hooray enough.
Long overdue review but I am so grateful for Lanette and her staff!! Pupup Hooray is the best daycare and boarding facility around by far! Every staff member goes above and beyond for each and every dog that comes into their facility and you can tell they truly care about the animals. It has been so difficult to find a place with a staff that actually takes time to play with the dogs instead of sitting there looking miserable all day! Lanette, Andy, and their team ensure that all the pets are having fun in a safe environment! Brittany the trainer is amazing as well and is currently working with our 5 month old pup to which we have noticed tremendous improvements! They know they are going to daycare when we get off the freeway and they get so excited!! Thank you Lanette, Andy, and the rest of the staff for making our babies feel so loved!
We have been taking our dog here for a day care for several months now. The facility has a large clean play area for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs. They have cameras that can be accessed to check on your dog. The play area usually has a good amount of dogs and it is not overcrowded. My dog gets a lot of energy out when he comes here. They have an app that can be used to make reservations and update records, which makes things very convenient.
All the staff members are friendly. Andy and Lannette send out emails regularly with updates and announcements.
They also recently started hosting training sessions and those have also been great.
Lannette and her team and facility are amazing. From the first call and time that she spent on the phone taking my inquiry for our puppy to stay over Thanksgiving to the minute we picked her up after our trip- it was an all around great experience! Lannette's rates were reasonable, the amenities were beyond comfy for a pet, the cameras were helpful and communication was timely, professional and helpful. I highly recommend Pupup Hooray. Thank you Lannette and team, we wish your business well!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND PUP UP HOORAY!! Although our Thanksgiving plans changed this year, we still decided to have our 3 year old German Shepherd give boarding a try for the first time so he can learn to be away from us for a little bit. We adopted him just 2 months ago.
He had SO MUCH FUN meeting and playing with new friends and the report was that he did AMAZING socially with the other pups and was a joy to have....music to our ears, just like a report card note from a teacher He was very well taken care of by the staff at Pup Up Hooray and we were able to watch him on camera through an app on our phone.
If you're looking for a fantastic boarding/daycare facility where the owners (Lannette & Andy) are very involved and genuinely care (they even texted me a few hours after we got home!), then check out Pup Up Hooray in Lake Forest
As you can tell from the photos, he's taking time to recharge after all the fun play time!
Can't say enough good things about this place. We got our dog Kona last year and knew we wanted to find somewhere local for her to go make friends and play. That's when I found Pup Up Hooray! They were pretty new at the time and it's been great to see their journey and business flourish! Since taking Kona to daycare we have also gone to their halloween events and Fourth of July events which are always a great chance to get cute photos! If you are in need of a daycare or boarding for your dog definitely check out this place. The owner Lannette and Andy are great people who truly Care about your pups!
I just had to write a review on this place on how well they accommodate you in a emergency situation. During the recent fire in foothill Ranch I called Lannette and asked if I could take my dog down to her, she said bring him down I will make room . I'm sure I wasn't the only one that needed to board my dog in a hurry. They take care of every animal like it's their own, I highly recommend boarding your animal with this place. Thanks Lannette, you guys rock.
We absolutely LOVE PupUp Hooray. Our girl is a bit special, with some joint issues, allergies and anxiety. She is so well cared for here that we never worry when she is in their care. She LOVES coming here.
I am torn as I write this as we recently moved from Mission Viejo to Oregon. As we prepared for the move and I thought about taking Dot away from here I cried like I had lost my best friend. I think it was because we were taking Dot from her safe home away from home. I believe I was sad at the thought of taking her from her very best friends.
Fur babies really are part of the PupUp Hooray family. I don't believe you can find better care for your furry friend when they have to be away from you.
We miss them.
Thank you Lannette, Andy and team for all that you do!
Becky, Jason and Dot
I have been sending my two springer spaniel puppies here for a few months now and I love this place. The owners are very good at understanding each dog and making sure they are placed in the appropriate groups. My dogs are littermates. Before taking them here they had started to develop their own play language and they didn't really know how to play with other dogs. Since sending them to daycare they have become more confident and play more with other dogs. They love the other puppies that attend and it seems like some of the older dogs have started to teach them proper play manners. The best part is they throw birthday parties for the dogs when their birthday rolls around with dog cake and goodie bags for all the attendees. Its the cutest thing!
So my dog needed a bath and my regular place was booked so I decided to try this place. Called got in right away yay! . Facility is spacious and clean, the owner gave me a tour. Both ladies were so nice . Picked up my dog looked great smelled so good. He even got bubbles and treats when we left. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!
Pup Up Hooray is a fantastic doggie daycare. I researched quite a few daycares before I brought my Shepard here. My dog has a great time and the people who work at the facility really love and take very good care of the dogs. In fact, all dogs have to go through a very thorough interview and dog interaction process which helps to make sure the dogs get along. The place is also very clean and you can watch your dogs playing through a real time app. I have no worries when I leave Stetson for playtime here.
When we first adopted our puppy Kobe I was a bit worried because the interactions with other dogs didn't go so well. One day we were walking to our door and our neighbor came by with her dog Reggie. I mentioned how well our dogs behaved. She said that they just got back from doggie daycare and Reggie is probably tired. I asked what this daycare was and immediately called the next day. I'm so thankful that I ran into them and found out about this AMAZING place!
I made an appointment for a meet and greet and did their free 1st session. The owners Lynette and Andy are awesome and Kobe fell in love with them right away. I've already purchased two packages and send Kobe there two times a week. He gets so excited when we pull up and forgets I even exist haha. I also did boarding for two nights and was nervous to leave him for that long. Lynette made me feel comfortable and he did just fine. The best part is the video footage that you can log into at anytime to check in. Its amazing how much the dogs teach each other things, the older dogs taught our Kobe dog manners. Pricing is fair and on their website. I love this place and it's Kobe's second home!
Bodhi my aussie pup has been coming here since last September and he loves it. Pup Hooray is his second home! Literally he is so comfortable there, he would run around the place like it's his home. Bodhi mostly there for daycare but had boarding a few times too. Andy and Lannette, the owner is so awesome. They truly loves all dog and they treat them like their own, and we love them for that. We know that when Bodhi is there, he is in good hand. The facility is very clean and spacious for dogs to run around and they have great high quality camera which is a big plus. This is a really great place for your puppy for daycare and boarding, highly recommended
This is my second review of Pup Up Hooray. Fergus, our puppy, has been coming to Pup Up Hooray for the last 8 months and could not be any happier. The facility is clean, caring, and with ample of space. I cannot express enough gratitude for the love and care that they have given my Fergus. I can safely go to work during this crazy Covid time and knowing that Fegus is well taken care of. My highest and sincere compliments for Pup Up Hooray.
I got my puppy right before COVID, so she didn't get the socialization she needed in those early months of having her. She was scared of everything and everyone (since people stayed 6 ft away and hid their face with a mask). So I decided to take her to PupUp Hooray playcare to work on her social skills and gain independence. Everyone at PupUp Hooray was so patient and loving and made sure all the other dogs welcomed her appropriately. Her social skills are improving drastically and she's really coming out of her shell and gaining confidence! I've taken my previous dog to other doggie daycares around the area but they didn't pay attention to appropriate behavior/play or manners and just threw all the dogs in one room. I knew I had to do more research to find a better doggie day care for Honey since she was extremely shy. Even when Honey was out for a few weeks from getting spayed, Andy reached out to check in on how she was doing and let us know how much she was missed. Lanette and Andy and the rest of the team are beyond amazing, the facility is immaculate, they hold fun events for the holidays, and she gets all the cuddles and love (especially from Julia!). Thank you PupUp Hooray!
Thank you to Andy and team for taking care of Naya for playcare! Naya is a 3.5 month old white GSD mix who got in plenty of socialization during her day stay. Andy asked all the right questions to really understand her temperament and make sure it's a good fit. This shows it's not about the money with them - they care about the dogs. I even received texts and pictures throughout the day which really put my mind at ease that Naya was in good hands. Very professional and above and being customer service. They also help set you up with their live camera so you can check in on your pup any time.
They're transparent about their facilities too - I was offered a full tour. Bright, clean, and spacious place for pups to play and rest. It's important to me that dog care facilities are not understaffed or overbooked. Pup Up Hooray checks all the boxes and we'll be back!
My dog acts like she is going to Disneyland whenever we pull up to the Pup Up Hooray building...
I love being able to watch her play during the day via their camera system.
She has stayed there for overnight boarding several times as well and I feel confident that she is being well cared for at all times.
The owners are hands on and take a special interest in each of their furry clients.
The facility is clean and well maintained. After researching other local doggie daycare options, I feel that there is simply no competition.
I highly recommend PupUp Hooray!
Debbie
Love this place and they are so accommodating. I've been taking my two large dogs for playtime for a couple of months and they are absolutely shattered for 24hrs after. Great clean convenient facilities. They now have the facilities to bathe and clean up your doggie and make them look and smell wonderful.
Thank you for staying open during these times
We just moved to the area. We had no idea where to get our dog groomed especially during these uncertain times. I'm so happy to have found Pup Up Hooray yesterday, and was able to make an appointment for today. Lanette was so nice along with the staff, she even gave our pup some complimentary play time. I give them Pup Up Hooray today!!!
I have a senior GSD who can be a bit testy with other dogs, I have never taken him to day care or any dog boarding. I was having work done on my house and could not stay home the whole time workers were at my house; being the guard dog he was meant to be, he would not take to having strangers come in and out of my house I brought him to Pup up Hooray. They were kind and patient with him, I felt like they got to know him too. I will use them in the future for my GSD and my new puppy.
My dog, Gizmo, boarded at Pup Up Hooray for a week. First of all, the customer service from the owner, Annette, was exceptional. I had concerns of leaving my 18 year old dog in someone else's care, but I felt immediately more at ease after speaking with Annette who explained that dogs' needs are met based on dogs individuality. She also suggested that I bring Gizmo prior to his stay so he could get acclimated, without additional charges. During his boarding, Gizmo who is less energetic due to his age, got some play time with other dogs but also enough rest. I also liked that he was allowed to sleep in his own bed and blanket because most other places don't permit that. Annette was responsive when I checked in with her during the week and thereafter took the initiative to update me on Gizmo's well-being and even sent pictures. I would be confident in leaving Gizmo there again and would recommend it to friends.
